Carol Sanders Whitsett Foundation

Carol Sanders Whitsett was born on March 8, 1943, and died on February 10, 2002.  Carol was an over-achiever who always found time to help those that she knew, loved and cared for.  Valedictorian in high school, she got her degree in Pharmacy at the University of Houston in 1966 and was the Eli Lilly National Merit Scholar.

Prior to her death, she founded the CAROL SANDERS WHITSETT FOUNDATION (CSWF), a 501 (C) (3) trust, to support research in the areas of SAD Immune-Dysfunction and other related diseases.    Over 200,000 women in America now suffer from various SAD Immune dysfunction diseases.  Currently there is no insurance coverage or medically  approved treatment for SAD Immune-Dysfunction diseases.

Medical Research Trust, whose work will be funded by the CSWF,  may have discovered a potential cure for SAD Immune-Dysfunction diseases, along with CFIDS, Lupus, MS and Sjogrens.   The mission of the CSWF is to raise funds and get to grants in order to continue the research in these areas.
