March 10, 2007 - We (meaning IICC) believe tha the time has come for Canada, Mexico and the United States to form a new union which we are suggesting be called the North American Union.
President Bush has taken the ball to improve the image of the United States by visiting various Latin American Countries. He is scheduled to meet with President Calderon in a few days. This would be a perfect time to start talking about the North American Union and what it could mean to each of the participants - Canada, Mexico and the United States. Obviously we want to draw on the experience - both good and bad - of the existing European Union.
